My experience at Lakeside Hotel & Spa could have been better because the standard of the Hotel since our previous visits has severely declined in almost every aspect.
I was pleased with Lakeside Hotel & Spa and would recommend them because excellent position in the Lake District
This hotel is a Jewel in the Crown for Domestic and Overseas visitors, it has everything needed for a wonderful Vacation
I would not recommend Lakeside Hotel & Spa until waiters/waitresses are better trained. Also, the food prepared by the cooks (they are not chefs) was quite poor (fatty tough steak at £40, tasteless too-long frozen fish at £20, tough breakfast bacon - cooked then left too long warming). Prices for food & drinks were very expensive
The staff at Lakeside Hotel & Spa were exceptional because they went above and beyond to make our stay as special as it could be. A stay here feels like a real treat - the location is stunning, dinner in the restaurant deliciously different and enticing and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. We may never have found this gem if it wasn't for winning a voucher in a raffle, but we will definitely be back!
