The experience at Walkers of Worksop was good because of the good atmosphere.

I would not recommend Walkers of Worksop because after I was told several times that there was no problems with the vehicle, I found that there was a tapping noise coming from the engine. My partner and his father (who is also a mechanic) also showed concern without me having to mention it. When I took the car back to the dealership, I was informed that they could not hear the noise I was referring to, so after taking one of the mechanics out in the car for a short drive, he stated that it sounded something along the lines of the release bearing. After they took it back in, we were informed shortly afterwards that due to it being a "normal" sound for the model of car that it would not come under the warranty and that in order to get it properly looked at, I would have to pay for it. After saying that we would get a second opinion from a different garage, they went back in to do a 'temporary' fix which involved greasing up something to do with my clutch and low and behold - when I took the car away, for the first 2-3 hours there was hardly any tapping noise - which quite clearly meant that the noise was not actually considered 'normal' and that there is something that can be done about it. The noise is still there to this day however, and I will be getting a second opinion this time and coming back into the dealership once I have gotten this. It is also the second time in the space of less than three months since I purchased the vehicle that I have had to have my handbrake adjusted.
