I would not recommend Destination Triumph Dorset because I was treated like I knew nothing The vehicle advertised was shown without a dented tank they said they too a photo of different bike for the ad but I took video of the ad and there was no damage on the bike I purchased in the ad. But there certainly was when I viewed. I was told free delivery when I initially spoke to a salesperson prior to deposit plus it was indicated they’d fit a lowering kit plus low seat swap as part of purchase package I put deposit down and that all went off the table! I had to pay for all of it Then I asked for the tank to be better repaired as was shown in ad they refused Then they forgot to swap my lowered side stand I’d paid to have fitted (I supplied that too!) and forgot to give it back to me. This was the first dealer bought bike in 25 years and I got treated like a silly woman. With contempt and were dismissive claiming they were only making £80 profit on the bike Having worked in the industry for a few years I was appalled at being lured in with suggestions of deals then being brushed off the minute I put a deposit down. After the second visit to the showroom I NEVER wanted to set foot back in the showroom itself so arranged for delivery of the bike The delivery guy was a very nice person.

I would not recommend KTM Dorset based on my experience. After paying the deposit, communication became slow and often inaccurate. The handover process was poorly managed with little to no documentation supplied, the information provided about the bike's specifications and features were incorrect, which affected my insurance. No spare key or key code was supplied, I was advised this model did not come with spare keys - on checking with KTM, found this was not the case. I also paid for Diamondbrite paint protection, but it was poorly applied, leaving visible drip marks that cannot be removed. Within minutes of collection, the engine management light came on; I was told it was due to a dirty lambda sensor from short-distance moves—suggesting the bike wasn’t properly road-tested. A promised follow-up call never happened. I had planned to return annually for servicing, but due to this experience, I will be going to another KTM dealer. While I remain interested in a KTM SMT for my next bike, I will be purchasing it elsewhere. Aside from these issues, there were no other concerns with the customer experience.

I had dealt with Brendan after making my first enquiry. He was most professional, showing me around the bike and completing the paperwork after I agreed to buy. He even managed to organise some decent weather for me to ride home. Well done Brendan, thanks a lot, see you soon!
