Having travelled from Norfolk on the train to Exeter to collect my Velar (six hours), there were a number of issues with the vehicle upon inspection. It was not particularly clean inside albeit quickly rectified. The main issue however was that there was a significant rattle in the wing mirror when closing the drivers door. Upon investigation, it was established that there was a loose light bulb in the wing mirror. Whilst this was replaced and I ultimately took delivery of the vehicle, the experience fell significantly below what I expected from a Land Rover main dealer and I feel this should have been identified prior to my arrival.
I have been offered a discount on my first service (albeit I am now having to pay for this up front). I had requested a net dog guard instead but was informed that this would not fall under the same promotional offer which is disappointing.
