My experience at Riverside BYD Wakefield

Overall an okay experience purchasing a car from Riverside BYD. Before coming to purchase car, salesman scraped car against another but was upfront about it and assured it will professionally restored. Kind of pressured to leave a deposit (which I did not) or come visit on same weekend (same salesman said he will try be there for the handover). On the day Travelled over 200 miles to dealership to be met with another salesman. The repair job was mediocre and was unable to negotiate anything off the listed price. I was able to complete a short test drive. Ended up purchasing car. However on the journey back home, the brake lights came on, stating brake pads needed changing. Really disappointing as this was another cost that I had not anticipated so soon, especially for a 2020 car that had a 120 or so “check” completed on it. Did not bother contacting them as I know it probably falls under wear and tear and wouldn't be covered by the 3 months warranty.

Okay experience but would have liked to be seen by the person who knew about my details and car.

I would not recommend Riverside BYD Wakefield because I have been trying to contact them for a wheel alignment issue for the past 10 days after i took my delivery but no one has contacted me back. I have called more than 4 times and everytime they say some one will call me back but no one does.

My experience at Riverside BYD Wakefield was positive because - The Sales person we worked with ‘Sam’ was very professional, helpful, friendly, well presented and approachable. This made the whole experience very smooth. I would not hesitate in recommending Riverside BYD.
