My experience at West End Garage Edinburgh could have been better because the car was not fit to be sold. It recorded warning lights within a mile of leaving the dealership but because the handover had been arranged at closing time, the car could not be checked further. Indeed, I wonder whether the car had been checked over at all before it was sold. Skoda assist were called out and they advised that there were numerous problems with the car and it has been held in a local dealership for longer than I have had the car in my possession since it was acquired at the end of June despite having paid a lot of money for it. The car was not fit to be sold and should not have been sold and yet the last email to the garage about the problems, has not been replied to. Quite frankly, I have been disgusted by what has happened and nobody from West End Skoda has taken ownership of the problem and made any further contact despite being advised of the issues. I would not recommend anyone to buy from West End Skoda.
I have had a nightmare with the finance. It should have been a straight part exchange at the end of my last finance agreement. Instead there were delays with settlements where VW finance blamed West End Skoda and vice versa. I have spent hours on hold making numerous phone calls had my credit rating affected due to their mistakes. Ive had money refunded then demands for non payment. Overall a very stressful experience for something that should be very simple. Salesman was excelent behind the scenes terrible and 2 months on its still not resolved.
I would not recommend West End Garage Stirling because I had to go back twice for life shine and the car came back dirty both times and three times for a brake problem. Ive had the car for only 7 weeks the garage 8 days! Customer service is not their priority!

I told the salesman I did not want hill hold, he persisted three times It did not have hill hold, I had to go back for them to disconnect the phone, then I had to ring them as the owners hand book had not been filled in, the sales manager came to our house to complete the book.
Although I might use West End Garage again I am very dissatisfied with the vehicle. The car has an unacceptable vibration and rough engine. If I change up gear when indicated on the control panel the engine sounds as if it is labouring, although it clearly is not. I have taken the car back to West End garage and they have told me that there is nothing wrong with the car and it is "a characteristic of the car"
