I was really excited about buying my Land Rover, but unfortunately, the experience has been far more disappointing than I ever expected. As it was my dream car.
When we arrived at the Yeovil dealership to collect the car, it was dirty, and to make matters worse, nobody was expecting me. After travelling to collect such a significant purchase, I felt let down by the lack of preparation and professionalism.
Throughout the buying process, communication was also disappointing. I expected to be kept informed and treated with a little more care, but instead, I was left feeling frustrated and overlooked.
Buying a car should be an exciting experience, especially when it’s a vehicle you’ve been looking forward to owning. Sadly, this experience took away much of that excitement.
I hope the dealership takes this feedback seriously and recognises that good customer service, clear communication and attention to detail make all the difference.

Vertu Land Rover Truro are great! I recently purchased an Approved Used Evoque and couldn’t be happier with both the vehicle and the experience of buying it.
From start to finish, the whole team were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely eager to help. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and made the process feel straightforward and enjoyable.
A special mention has to go to my assigned sales person, Meg Clode. Meg was thorough, approachable and really took the time to listen to what I wanted and needed. She acted on every request and went above and beyond to find the right vehicle to suit my lifestyle, rather than simply trying to sell me a car.
I felt listened to, valued and completely confident throughout the process. The level of customer service was excellent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Meg and the team to anyone looking for their next vehicle.
