My experience at Vertu Land Rover Truro could have been better because when we turned up to collect our new (second hand) car, first of all I had to drive to the local Post Office with the salesman because first of all they didn't have the original V5 and secondly, I qualify for a disabled person discount on the car tax so I was made to explain this to the Post Office as the salesman had never done it before! When we returned to the dealership we then discovered that part of the body moulding on the car was damaged and needed to be replaced. After we'd been told it would only take a week to sort out, two weeks later, after an incorrect part had been delivered in the meantime, we turned up to collect our car, having told the salesman we would need a quick turnaround, however we were kept waiting for ages and when eventually our new car was driven up to the front door we were just unceremoniously passed the keys as if we were picking it up from a service and had to try and check over the bodywork in the pouring rain! We were also quoted £900 for fitting a set of mud flaps by the service department, when the price should have been closer to £400 - when challenged they insisted the price was correct, when blatantly it wasn't! They just seemed to have no idea what they were doing.
