Sales v.good & felt comfortable to place my order with deposit , but everything since then it could appear " appalling " , We were quoted a 17 week delivery , which was fine , as factory order , but right from the start I opted for 2 weekly updates on build , that never materialised until after a month odd I asked what happened to you doing this ? got to the 15 week mark & got an email " all ready for 2 weeks time " , only for that time to go and pass , was told it was in the country but would be up to another 14 days with Pdi and registration , this was never originally said , then turns out then get told it wasn't in the country ?? & you would think you just get told you things just to get you off the phone ? then get told it could be another 3 months odd , queried why someone said it was in the country & that it was essentially all ready , then get told this person has got " sacked for misconduct ??? " & they would have to cancel the order & re-order with another build , but one was already here ," brilliant " I thought & that went ahead , but + 5 weeks on top of what was the original date , ring up numerous times to chase , as again they just it could appear, say anything to get you off the phone & then immediately forget what they've told you probably because it could appear it isnt correct . then ring up one one occasion & the person I was told was " sacked ? " , answered the phone ?? . Get to the eventual delivery time of this new change of order van & ask that can we pick up , this was told " no " , wanted this as wanted to be the 1st driver of our new vehicle , but catergorically " no " , this is ok as you would expect the new car experience the same as getting from a dealer , but no ,
the guy delivering had a water bottle on the passenger seat & hadn't done the lid up properly , wet water patches all over passenger seat & drivers seat , service book / manual all wet as well as crumbs from what he'd been eating ?? you couldn't make it up , I think he'd just treated it as a jolly day out , not that he was delivering a brand new £27k van & it was supposed to be delivered like that , just it could appear didnt care , but same as customer service it could appear , Also found a scratch & dent , that were reported , this is two weeks ago now , no action on that & have been told , " is it ok for the dealer to contact me to arrange " , but thats only passing the buck & I bought from vans direct & there contract was with me not anyone else legally , so you can see this going absolutely nowhere , it could appear just follows how there rest of the experience ( bar sales ) has been . Nobody seems it could appear to care or with respect know what there doing I don't know ? but again it could appear . Also as final vehicle invoice not laid out clearly paid the deposit again twice ( £500 ) , but did anyone say until I picked up accidentally , " no " ? , was returned as soon as I said but I did query why no-one said , with no answer , So categorically " no " I would not buy again & wish id just gone to main dealer that would of only been + £1000 but would not of had what has it could appear to of been a complete disaster experience.
My experience at Vansdirect was memorable because from first contact to the delivery of the vehicle it was a very smooth operation
The experience at Vansdirect was great because everything was clear, the information etc however the roof were fitted
Would recommend however it took a month to get it to me.
The staff at Vansdirect were good because Vansdirect supplied me 3 years ago a similar van to what I took now, and I asked the sales person if it was the same, he told me it was very similar to what I had before but it did not even have reversing cameras or folding mirrors.
Vansdirect were great because always been really good
