Stoneacre Peterborough Boongate

I would not recommend Stoneacre Peterborough Boongate because I was informed the vehicle had a lot of work done to it and it was ready for collection. Collected it and drove it home with my young son in it. With my husband being a mechanic we knew something was wrong.. the techinians failed to find the fault with the gearbox. Needed to be rebuilt.. so after 11 days of signing my finance agreement I still haven't received my vehicle.. yes I have been given a loan vehicle which is lovely and I really appreciate it but.... the mechanic who signed the vehicle off should of known the problem when he test drove it.. not a happy bunny... and I'm still waiting

I would not recommend Stoneacre Peterborough Boongate because the lies, misleading information, poor aftersales, hard selling, more lies, telling me to test drive a car at another dealership(not stoneacre), again lies and the fact you coned me.

My experience at Stoneacre Peterborough Boongate could have been better because the manager didn't return calls, I had to change the personal plate myself, chase them constantly about bank details to pay and paperwork to change the reg over, wanted the car for my husbands 60th birthday and still didn't have it nearly a fortnight later!, in fact until a gentleman called Paskey took over I didn't seem to be getting anywhere with purchasing the car then he pushed for things to happen and arrange a date for delivery. completely unsatisfied with all else apart from his input, would not buy a car from them again and would not recommend to friends and colleagues. it was a trying time and completely ruined what should have been a memorable 60th birthday for my husband! cant even get my name right Mrs Bean not Miss Bean.

I was pushed into buying a car I didn't want, new car was on order and paid deposit, then my balloon payment was taken by mistake. Instead of refunding it or giving me a loan car they gave me no option but to sign an agreement for an ex demo they had or I couldn't get the ball on payment back. Leaving me 4000 overdrawn. I approached the sales manager the next day and had my worries completely dismissed. Contacted seat directly, they can't help but have recommended I take it to the motor ombudsman.

I would not recommend Stoneacre Peterborough Boongate because i was miss lead by the sales manager about my deposit​ as some of my deposit went to an extended warranty wage when i told them i did not want the warranty i was told I could not get the car unless I got the extended warranty and was therefore forced to get the extended warranty.

Still haven't received log book for my car - nearly 3 weeks after the purchase, even after continuous calls. Failure to call back on numerous occasions. Feeling very dissatisfied - will be in contact with head office.
