The experience at Park's Kia Coatbridge was great because I knew what I wanted to buy but they did not have the car I wanted in stock,the salesman,Sam, I was dealing with went onto Parks website and found what I was looking for at their East Kilbride branch and offered to drive over there and get the car so I could view it.
I explained that I was also going to view a Toyota car I was interested in and he suggested I go to view it and by the time I had viewed it he would have the Kia Niro4 back at his branch.
I was pleased that he made no effort to dissuade me from viewing the Toyota which was at a garage outwith the Parks group and as it transpired after viewing the Toyota I decided that the Kia Nero better suited my needs and on returning to the Kia garage concluded a deal to purchase the car he had collected for me.He went above and beyond to meet my needs.
Only one sour note in the whole process was that on using the car sat nav I found that the mapping was needing updated and have been informed by the garage that they don’t do updates as the process takes to long.They have however told me I can download the updated sat nav from the Kia website onto a dongle and upload the info into the car myself.
This was not the news I was wanting to hear being a 77 yr old self confessed technophobe who does not have a computer at home.
I sincerely hope that Kia and the Parks group take this on board and work out a solution for their customers.
Other than that I am delighted with my car and the process of buying it from this garage.
