I would not recommend Hendy Land Rover Southampton because my purchase experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. The vehicle was advertised before it was ready, collection was delayed multiple times, and the mileage was over 700 miles higher than advertised by the time I completed the purchase.
On the original collection day, I had already arranged insurance, taken time off work and expected to leave with the vehicle, only to be told there was an oil leak. I left the vehicle with Hendy for repair and had to push for a courtesy car, which was not proactively offered at first. Communication throughout this process was poor and I had to repeatedly chase for updates.
The vehicle was eventually handed over, but within 24 hours the engine management light came on. Land Rover Assist diagnosed fault code P049B EGR “B” flow insufficient detected and the report showed the same fault had previously been logged before I collected the vehicle. The technician also noted a possible deeper DPF/EGR issue.
Overall, this has not felt like the customer service I would expect from an official Land Rover retailer. I have had to deal with delays, poor communication, a pre-handover oil leak, and then an engine warning light almost immediately after collection. The experience has been stressful and has left me with very little confidence in the vehicle or the handover process.

My experience at Hendy Land Rover Southampton was memorable because Meghan Noyce went above and beyond she was incredibly professional and efficient and found me the right car immediately. One very happy customer!
Hendy Land Rover Southampton were great because the salesman was very friendly very respectful explained everything clearly we were offered a drink as soon as we walked in found the whole experience very pleasant would definitely buy from them again
