My experience at Carbase Lympsham could have been better because
We spent far too long there. We had an appointment at 11.30 but he was with another customer when we arrived at 11.25 so we were told to look around the car and he would come out when he was free. No one came to see us so at 12.15 we went and asked again and we appeared to have been forgotten about. The receptionist assumed we had been on a test drive, which we hadn't so she arranged that . By the time that was completed and we finally got to meet Nathan it was getting on for 1pm. We had a few issues with payment on our side as money hadn't transferred fully so Nathan suggested we do a finance agreement and pay it off in a few days so we could take the car. .In all we left around 4pm - a good 4 hours in total.
The car started making a noise on the way home and it also has a tendancy to kangaroo when pulling away and we feel that these issues should have been picked up in your comprehensive RAC inspection.
Despite being told if there were any issues we could take it to an RAC approved garage you have refused us that and are saying we need to bring it back to you.
I am self employed and rely on my car for business so this will be very disruptive as you are an hour away from us, meaning both myself and my husband will have to drive the car and his van to you the day before and again to collect so that's 6 journeys of an hour and a lot of fuel. You have not offered a courtesy car so it's all at our expense when there is an RAC approved garage down the road from where we live. What's the point in the carbase club!?

Carbase Lympsham were fantastic because all my needs were met. I was really unsure about what car I wanted but car base worked with me to help pick the right car and gave incredible service. They were very patient with around my working hours and continually checked in with me around what I wanted and next steps. Once I was able to go there, it was all extremely efficient and supportive. My needs were listened to with regards to finance and I was met with kindness and patience. The sales people there are friendly and ray made sure that I felt comfortable and spoke about day to day life so it was not uncomfortable.
Overall my experience was amazing and I would highly recommend car base and ray. Thank you all
