My experience at Pentagon Oldham Park Road could have been better because on the day of purchase it took over two hours to get the car. I then had to drive to Rochdale to pick up my car which had not been serviced and the car needed two new tyres and these had not been changed. The car had no diesel and I had to go to the garage immediately and full up. I was contacted by Gary the following Thursday who asked if when I could bring the car in. I informed Gary that the next day I was working in Rochdale and I could take the car in and leave it and walk to my placement. I am still waiting to hear from Gary. Last week I received a call from the service department and after explaining the issue the manager called me back. I had previously called the manager twice and Gary seven times. My car is now booked in for 14.4.18.

I would not recommend Pentagon Oldham Park Road because 1. Deliberately misled on the price of the car and accessories at purchase and 2. promised "free" item (paint protection) never happened or no documentary proof provided so method of redress if problems. 3. Rectification of faults noted at handover taken longer than advised and weeks later still have outstanding issues that have not been resolved and only 1 of 7 phone calls has been returned despite promises to ring back quickly. Communication between Sales, Service and Bodyshop departments are spectacularly poor on details.

My experience at Pentagon Oldham - Citroen was not satisfactory because on the day of picking the car up, we arrived to discover the valeting service had damaged the paintwork on the vehicle and all the t-cuting which was highlighted the week before had not been done, and even when the Gary the sales person tried to explain to the valeters what he wanted to have T-cut they failed to carry out this instruction. When I suggest that we didn't mind waiting until Gary did this himself before we left (has he had mentioned in an email that if all else failed he would T-cut the car himself) he clearly wanted to rush off home (it was only 12:30 in the afternoon) so luckily this problem was included on the work agreed with our local bodyshop.
Gary was in a rush to "leave for the day" went through the paperwork as quick as possible, mentioned he had only received the handover paperwork on the wed that week, even though he had emailed me on Monday with the insurance details, he even forgot to ask us for payment, until we had to point this out to him.
There was no show around the car to show us the controls and features, he was quite happy to let us leave not knowing the controls of the car. He had failed to order the mats that we had purchased for the car, which we had to wait over 2 weeks for, due to the parts department holding onto to the mats for over a week, after royal mail refused to take them for delivery, it was only when I phone to mention to Richard that the mats had not arrived, that we found this out, and that they were looking for a carrier to take them, why it took over 5 days to source a carrier I believe was down to someone in the parts department who could not be bother to sort this out, leaving the customer me waiting.
There was no manual or service history in the car which we mentioned to Paul the manager, who promised us that he would sort this out. However the other staff at the garage, don't seem to check over the fine details of what they need to order, as when the manual came, it was for the wrong year of C4, so we are still waiting for the correct manual to be sent from France before being sent over to us.
Your staff seem to lack attention to detail this has been clear on numerous occasions. However the work needed to rectify the damaged paintwork, has been completed by our local bodyshop to perfection without any hassle.

My experience at Pentagon Oldham Citroen could have been better as I could have received the documentation that I was promised for when I collected the vehicle.
The handover and aftersales service leaves a lot to be desired. I found out by my own HPI check that the vehicle was still on finance before I bought it. I am still waiting for a letter to confirm that the outstanding finance has been cleared and also awaiting a service history book stamped by the garage as they advised me that they had serviced the vehicle on their receipt.
I was verbally advised that I would receive a letter after 3 working days as that was how long it would take for the finance to clear. I am still waiting. Also, the vehicle did not come with a service history book. I was advised that the garage would obtain one from Peugeot, stamp it as they had serviced it and then post it out to me. I am still waiting for both of these important documents.
It is now 9 working days after receipt of the vehicle and I still haven't received these important documents. I will be returning to the dealership to complain if I have not received them. I am NOT happy as these are important documents.

I would not recommend Pentagon Oldham Park Road because the entire experience was a disaster. Broken promises, incorrect information, lack of communication. I inquired about an ex demonstrator, was told it was available 20th July, went to dealership and it wasn't there, arranged to come back when there, secured vehicle with deposit. Visited again, arranged finance from 3rd party and sale of my car, all set to pickup new car on 20th, on 19th they left message car not available for two more weeks!! I had already sold mine and funds transferred to Pentagon for new car. Lent basic courtesy car for the two week and told I would get next service free as compensation. Picked up car, not cleaned properly, they registered it to the wrong address!! And I didn't get my free service. Seems they will say anything to shut you up. Loads of messages ignored, no word of apology from the manager for inconvenience. They need some customer service training. Buying a new car should be a pleasant experience, not leaving u lying awake at night because they have your money u have no car and they won't call u back.
